Project Summary: Cultural audit of the Ministry of Defence Police.

Business Issue: The MDP was seeking to understand more about cultural issues within the workforce and the extent to which various groups felt included or excluded by the organisational culture.

PTI Action: PTI was commissioned to undertake a comprehensive cultural audit of a specific Ministry of Defence Police unit. This involved an impact assessment of all organisational policies, the use of our online diagnostic tool, InclusionIndex™ to understand employee perceptions of the extent to which the organisation was inclusive, and a programme of one-to-one interviews and focus groups with 100 employees to gain a qualitative insight into Diversity at the MDP.

Business Result: The organisation is now in the process of implementing our joint action plan. PTI was subsequently retained to conduct a similar cultural audit, this time for an elite operational unit in two UK locations.
